Well Mick and I received my Engagement Ring Friday afternoon and oh my god how beautiful it is. Thank you so very very much for our Ring. As you can imagine we were both a little sceptical right up until we had our Ring in our hands but the moment we opened that box and saw my ring, we both had tears of Joy. It was made so beautifully and everything you said in your emails you delivered. As you would be aware there will be a wedding coming up in the next year and we will definitely be coming back for a custom made Wedding Band to go with our Engagement ring. I must say that I had my doubts even to the end as to the quality and authenticity of my wedding ring, even after seeing it. I even rushed out to have it independently valued within the 30 day period, just to make sure!!! How easy a process to order and receive your jewellery, and what a wonderful surprise at valuation!!, I still can’t believe that you can get such quality online, for a handmade item, and in Australia!! Why would you ever pay the overheads in a retail store again? Dear Peter,

I would like to thank you for all of the assistance and advice that you have given me over too long a period! Of course, neither of us could have expected that my desire for a Raymond Weil watch would lead us on such an adventure.

I suspect you have never had a case where a person orders a special watch for his 60^th birthday and then manages to lose it (or have it stolen) within half an hour of putting it on! Thank you in the first place for going to the trouble that you did to find a long French band for Watch No.1. Next, thank you for finding out for me that because I used my ANZ credit card to purchase the watch it was insured for 90 days. Then, thank you for going to the extra trouble of contacting Raymond Weil in Geneva to get me the extra long Raymond Weil band even though the latter required three months to be delivered to you. You are patient!

Like others, I had some trepidation in making this, my most expensive, purchase over the Internet. Your extraordinary customer service was matched only by your wit. Your last e-mail was a gem and has been shown to many of my family members and friends. I repeat it here in case you wish to put this note on your website.

“Hi Darrell,
At long last the saga is over! I'm glad you are still as enthusiastic as
when you received the first watch. If you like trivia… [if you don't here it
is anyway]:

It took 5 months & 3 days from your first enquiry to get you what you
wanted. (Yes, you were only in your 50's when you embarked on this
Odyssey.) And it required 63 emails in total. Not to mention that an online
jeweller, our watch supplier, a local watchmaker, an innumerate postman,
your honest neighbour from number 9, a restaurateur, the police, Andrew, Jan,
